Dad of the Year

This children's play structure was built entirely from materials left over from a deck construction project. A child-safe platform with slide was built with cedar 2 x 12's and leftover decking. The railing design matched the deck in the front yard and a pressure treated 6 x 6 was mounted to the maple tree to make a tire swing that the kids and their friends all love! Mom was happy because the kids were happy and Dad was happy because he got rid of a pile of wood and the project didn't cost very much!
